"Rocket Ship", is a mix of classic rock and blues with an edgy feel. This is the second song of a space opera series I have been working on.
At one point I was struggling with the lyrics, and I needed to get out of the house. I grabbed my guitar and hit a local favorite, The Barzarre. I met few patrons and asked if I could try my new song on them. They agreed so I went for it. I played the first verse and chorus for a few patrons, and to my surprise it rolled off a little easier than I thought. A couple of weeks later I finished the song and started the recording process. Sometimes a change of scenery is all we need to help stay away from writers struggles. I hope you enjoy the song. Thanks for listening, and I'll see you on the other side!
