"Stinger Girl", by Chris Luther

Updated: Apr 12, 2023

This song has more of a rock and country feel to it. I also added some supernatural lyrics because I was reading Bram Stokers' "Dracula", at the time. It dust kept popping into the story. I had also watched The Clash of the Titans the night before, so there is a few references in the lyrics. I also was listening to a lot of the Rolling Stones, and Joni Mitchell at the time. It has a light melody, but heavy guitars. It kinda reminds me of The Ramones song, "Pet Cemetery". Cheers!

“Stinger Girl”, by Chris Luther

I’m so addicted to

Your smile and witches brew, baby

Even though my livers shrinkin’

I’m drinking from your cauldron, anyways

It seems like everyone I meet

Is hell bent on being green

Love could be sweet with you

Stinger girl

Stinger girl

Stinger girl

A few shots i’ll mix with honey

The sweet taste is oh so deadly, like a flame

I’m missing you and burning

Medusas got me turning to stone, again

It seems like everyone I meet

Is hell bent on being green

Love could be sweet with you

Stinger girl

Stinger girl

Stinger girl

She’s stunning yet it get’s me down, and

So cold in this empty town

I can’t slip her wicked cantrip now

Your potion keeps me in a daze like,

Vampires in a hidden cave, forever

I don’t mind your warning label

I’m punch drunk and more than able with you

Cause’

It seems like everyone I meet

Is hell bent on being green

Love could be sweet with you

Stinger girl

Love could be sweet with you

Stinger girl

Stinger girl

Stinger girl

Stinger girl

Stinger girl
